Calling All Angels - Charlene Von Hoffmann Cancer Foundation
If a friend or family member in your life has been diagnosed with cancer, or you are struggling with a cancer diagnosis yourself, you may want to check out the Charlene Von Hoffmann Cancer Foundation. I just heard a radio interview with the founder, Shirleen Von Hoffmann, and felt the need to pass on this valuable information about the free "cancer wellness coaching" her foundation provides to cancer patients, which includes patient support and advocacy, home visits, and meal support. They also provide seminars for patients, their families, and caregivers, and retreats to persons going through cancer treatment as well as to cancer survivors. Ms. Von Hoffmann has also written a book called The Journey Home
about her experiences with her mother's cancer diagnosis which prompted her to create the foundation in memory of her mother and use all the proceeds from the sale of the book to fund her foundation. As all of us no doubt have known, or will know someone with cancer during our lifetimes, this information about her services is invaluable and definitely worth keeping in mind and forwarding to others!

Facial Exercise DVDs
Just like the other muscles in our body, facial muscles also require regular exercise to stay toned. However, unlike other conditioning exercises, you may feel a little silly doing facial exercises in public, so you may want to pick up a DVD that will guide you through your facial exercise routine in the comfort and privacy of your home. Lucky for you, there are many facial exercise DVDs on the market to choose from, so the next time you do your full body workout, don't forget to include your facial muscles!

Stop Hearing Loss Now!
Hearing loss has become more common in recent times, even among younger individuals. In some cases hearing loss can be stopped, but in order to do so, the cause must first be determined. Some causes include simply growing old, ear infections, buildup of excessive ear wax, prolonged exposure to noise pollution, and even as a side effect of surgery. However, once the cause is determined, an effective treatment plan can be prescribed. There are many options available, such as the use of a hearing aid, cochlear implant, sodium fluoride, anti-oxidants, antibiotics, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, and even surgery, which boasts a very good success rate in stopping or preventing hearing loss. As with any medical condition, the key is to catch it early and do something as soon as you notice that you may be losing your hearing, which will give you the best chances to stop your hearing loss now.
